H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, met at his residence in Auckland, New Zealand, with the senior leadership of the Federation of Islamic Associations of New Zealand.
The meeting discussed a number of topics related to Islamic affairs, particularly the promotion of religious awareness in light of the principles of the Charter of Makkah—which was endorsed by more than 1,200 muftis and scholars—as well as the Federation’s activities in highlighting the values of Islam that call for tolerance and coexistence, while preserving the distinct identity of the Muslim community in New Zealand.
