The Muslim World League Offers Condolences on the Passing of the Former Amir of the State of Qatar

Makkah:

The Muslim World League (MWL) has extended its sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy on the passing of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the former Amir of the State of Qatar.

In a statement issued by the MWL General Secretariat, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, paid tribute to the late Amir’s distinguished role in Qatar’s development and prosperity. He prayed that Allah Almighty reward him abundantly for his service to his people and country, envelop him in His vast mercy, and grant him a place in His spacious Paradise.

His Excellency also conveyed, on behalf of the MWL, his condolences to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, to the late Amir’s family, and to the people of Qatar, praying that Allah grant them strength, patience, and solace during this time of loss.
