The Muslim World League warns against Israeli forces storming the Palestinian city of Rafah
Makkah:
The Muslim World League warned of the danger of Israeli forces storming the city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip, and the horrific repercussions that will be caused as a result of targeting it at a time when hundreds of thousands of civilians have been displaced there due to the brutal Israeli aggression on the Strip.
On behalf of the MWL’s global councils, bodies and assemblies, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL, reiterated the MWL’s firm stance and rejection of any Israeli attempts to displace the residents of the Strip. He also stressed the need to implement an immediate ceasefire; and firmly address violations of international and humanitarian laws.
In this regard, the MWL called on the international community to take urgent and effective measures to stop the humanitarian disaster that will be caused by this barbaric aggression.
