Islamic Fiqh Council
It is an independent Islamic scholarly body with a distinct legal personality, operating within the framework of the Muslim World League. It is composed of a select group of eminent jurists and scholars from across the Islamic world.

Means of the Council:
The Islamic Fiqh Council employs all legitimate and appropriate means available to achieve its objectives, including:
• Establishing an information center to monitor issues faced by the Islamic world that require study.
• Compiling dictionaries of fiqh and its sciences to clarify jurisprudential terminology and make it easier for those engaged in fiqh studies and practice.
• Publishing a peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to fiqh studies, presenting the most important research, discussions, and resolutions of the Council, and translating them into several languages.
• Cooperating with similar scholarly institutions and centers across the Islamic world and exchanging knowledge and ideas with them.
• Organizing scientific symposia on contemporary issues and new developments, and commissioning specialists to contribute studies on these topics.
• Translating the Council's resolutions, recommendations, and research, and disseminating them through all possible means, including the internet, satellite channels, and newspapers.
