At the Muslim World League office in Jeddah, Mr. Abdulwahab Alshehri, Assistant Secretary-General for Corporate Communication, met with a British delegation headed by His Excellency Lord Tariq Ahmad, the British Minister of State for the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, and United Nations and Commonwealth Affairs.
During the meeting, which was attended by a number of leaders of the MWL from various departments, several topics of common interest were discussed.
Lord Ahmad praised the efforts of the #MuslimWorldLeague in combating hatred, racism and Islamophobia. He also commended the pivotal role of His Excellency the Secretary-General on behalf of the MWL’s global councils, bodies and assemblies in supporting the Palestinian cause, and launching an urgent petition for a ceasefire in Gaza.
