Makkah:
The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned the ongoing violations of the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Israeli government, notably the recent storming of the holy site by Israel’s Minister of National Security, under the protection of occupation forces, and the forcible removal of worshippers.
Furthermore, the MWL denounced the targeting by Israeli occupation forces of a United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) clinic in Jabaliya Camp, situated in northern Gaza.
In a statement issued by its General Secretariat, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, condemned the repeated violations against civilians, sacred sites, and international humanitarian organizations in Palestine, describing them as blatant breaches of international and humanitarian laws and norms.
Dr. Al-Issa urged the international community to undertake immediate and decisive action in response to these violations, emphasizing the urgency of activating international mechanisms to deter such offenses and hold the perpetrators accountable.
