The Muslim World League received a high-level delegation from the Republic of Kazakhstan at its headquarters in Makkah. The delegation was led by His Excellency Mr. Mäulen Äşimbaev, Chair of the Senate, and His Eminence Sheikh Nauryzbay Kazhy Taganuly, Grand Mufti of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The delegation praised the MWL’s efforts in the service of Islam and Muslims, and its important international movement to support Muslim minorities. In this context, they highlighted the significance of the #CharterOfMakkah and the Charter of Building Bridges between Islamic Schools of Thought and Sects, which the MWL presented to the Islamic world, offering an authentic Islamic vision rooted in moderation, unity, and solidarity.
The meeting concluded with the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Muslim World League and the International Center for Interfaith and Interreligious Dialogue.
