The Muslim World League (MWL) has extended its heartfelt congratulations to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia—its leadership and people—on its election as Vice-Chair of the Executive Board of the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as its selection as a member of the United Nations High-Level Group for Partnership, Coordination, and Capacity-Building for the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.

In a statement issued by its General Secretariat, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, affirmed that this recognition stands as a testament to the well-deserved international confidence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He emphasized the Kingdom’s distinguished and influential role in relevant global affairs, grounded in its active and impactful engagement within the international community.
