The Muslim World League Condemns the Decision of the Israeli Occupation Government to Fully Reoccupy the Gaza Strip

Makkah:

The Muslim World League (MWL) has condemned in the strongest terms the plan of the Israeli occupation government to fully reoccupy the Gaza Strip.

In a statement issued by the General Secretariat of the MWL, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, stressed that this decision represents a dangerous escalation that undermines all prospects for ending the conflict and achieving a just and lasting peace. He emphasized that it continues a pattern of policies that disregard the life, dignity, and fundamental rights of the Palestinian people, which contravenes established humanitarian principles, international law, and globally recognized norms in the occupied Palestinian territories.

His Excellency warned of the severe humanitarian consequences of such measures, particularly in light of the ongoing siege, deprivation, and displacement affecting the residents of Gaza. He renewed the call for urgent and concerted action by the international community to fulfill its moral and legal responsibilities—working decisively to halt the violence, uphold justice, and end one of the most tragic human crises of our time.
