The Muslim World League Condemns Terrorist Bombing Targeting a Mosque in Islamabad

The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned the terrorist bombing that targeted a mosque in the capital of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Islamabad.
In a statement issued by its General Secretariat, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, denounced this heinous terrorist act, affirming that its perpetrators are devoid of all religious and humanitarian values, having shown blatant disregard for the sanctity of human life and the inviolability of places of worship. His Excellency reaffirmed the MWL’s firm and principled stance in rejecting violence and terrorism in all their forms and under any pretext, and expressed the League’s full solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the face of all threats to its security, stability, and the safety of its people.
The Secretary-General extended his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the families of the victims and to the people of Pakistan, praying to Allah Almighty to bestow His boundless mercy upon the deceased and grant the injured a swift recovery.
