The World Islamic League has condemned the Israeli occupation government’s bombardment of a school, houses and tents sheltering displaced people in Al-Daraj neighborhood, Gaza City, and other areas of the enclave, resulting in dozens of deaths. victims and missing under the rubble, majority of whom are children and women.
In a statement from his Secretariat-General, the Secretary-General, President of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Mohammed ben Abdelkarim Alissa, denounced these atrocious and ongoing crimes against defenceless civilians in the Gaza Strip. He stressed that they constitute a blatant violation of international and humanitarian laws and standards.
He stressed the urgent need for an immediate reaction from the international community to put an end to these horrific massacres, which the Israeli government's war machine continues to commit, by activating international mechanisms to deter and bring those responsible for these acts to justice.
