Statement from the Muslim World League:

Makkah:
The Muslim World League (MWL) has condemned the airstrikes carried out by the Israeli occupation government's forces on several areas within the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic.

In a statement issued by the General Secretariat, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, denounced this dangerous and unacceptable course of action by the Israeli occupation government, characterizing it as a violation of state sovereignty, a breach of international laws and norms, and a threat to security and stability in Syria and the wider region.

His Excellency reaffirmed the MWL’s full solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic in the face of any threat to its security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. He also called on the international community to take immediate and decisive measures in response to these grave violations. He emphasized that such actions undermine regional stability, hinder the Syrian people’s efforts to restore peace and security, and jeopardize international initiatives aimed at supporting them during this critical period following years of hardship and suffering.
