The Muslim World League (MWL) extends its deepest condolences to the people of Sudan following the tragic landslide disaster that struck a village in the Darfur region of western Sudan.
In a statement issued by the General Secretariat, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, expressed the MWL’s sincere solidarity and sympathy with the families of the victims and the people of Sudan during this difficult time. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to bestow His mercy upon the deceased and grant them Paradise, to bestow a swift recovery upon the injured, and to protect Sudan and its people from all harm.
