The Muslim World League Warns of the Catastrophic Repercussions of the Israeli Invasion of Gaza City and Calls on the Security Council to Assume its Responsibilities

The Muslim World League (MWL) has warned of the catastrophic repercussions of the violent, expanded military operations launched by the Israeli occupation forces to invade Gaza City, as the extremist occupation government continues escalating its crimes and widening the scale of killing, destruction, and forced displacement.

In a statement issued by the MWL’s General Secretariat, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, reiterated the MWL’s urgent and pressing call to the international community, particularly the Security Council, to assume its moral and legal responsibilities and take an immediate and serious stand to save civilians in the Gaza Strip from the war machine of the Israeli occupation government, which has persisted in its disregard and contempt for all international laws and norms, as well as for the lives and rights of the Palestinian people.
