The Muslim World League Welcomes the Plan of the US President to End the War on Gaza

The Muslim World League (MWL) has welcomed the announcement by US President Donald Trump of a plan to end the war in the Gaza Strip, as well as the response of the international community and influential powers, expressing their willingness to support the initiative and ensure its success.
In a statement issued by the MWL’s General Secretariat, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, reiterated that saving lives, halting the machinery of war and plans for displacement and annexation, as well as ending the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip represent an urgent priority at this stage. He emphasized that this paves the way for a political process aimed at achieving a just and comprehensive solution based on the two-state solution.
