The Muslim World League (MWL) warmly welcomes the announcement by His Excellency President Donald Trump regarding the United States’ commitment to urgently work toward ending the devastating war and establishing peace in the Republic of Sudan, in partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and in response to the request of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may Allah reward him abundantly.
In a statement issued by the MWL General Secretariat, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, expressed the MWL’s deep appreciation—on behalf of the Muslim people under its umbrella—for the fraternal and humanitarian initiative of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. May Allah bless his efforts and reward him for his ongoing initiatives that serve justice, stability, and peace. He emphasized the great hope that this pivotal initiative will bring an end to the devastating conflict that has caused indescribable suffering to the Sudanese people.
