Stanford University in the United States hosted His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, who delivered a distinguished lecture titled "Values in the Face of Contemporary Conflicts."
His Excellency engaged in a wide-ranging dialogue with a number of entrepreneurs and executives from Silicon Valley, discussing topics related to the digital economy, Islamic economic legislation, the ethics of artificial intelligence, charitable work, and the fight against poverty.
In his address, His Excellency focused on the complexities of ideological conflicts—both religious and intellectual—examining the dangers they pose and proposing practical solutions. He emphasized the fundamental distinction between natural and constructive diversity of thought, which is an inherent aspect of human existence, and the harmful ideological confrontations that fragment societies and undermine national unity. The importance of mutual understanding, peaceful coexistence, and constructive cooperation was underscored as essential responses to such challenges.

These student projects are part of the "Establishing Muslim Life" program, inspired by the students’ visit to Makkah during the holy month of Ramadan and their performance of Umrah.
These student projects explored the provisions of the Charter of Makkah and their relevance to practical life in the Western world, including efforts to combat extremism, promote interfaith communication and dialogue, protect the climate and environment, and address other pressing global concerns.
